Role Overview
The
IT Supervisor for the End-User Computing Group (EUCG) is responsible for overseeing the delivery, support, and management of all end-user computing services and technologies. This role ensures seamless IT operations, high service standards, and continuous improvement of support processes while leading and developing a team of IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management Manage, mentor, and develop the EUCG team to ensure high performance, engagement, and service delivery.
- Technical Support (Level 3) Provide advanced technical support for complex hardware and software issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- End-User Support Assist users with IT-related requests such as hardware provisioning, software upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- IT Asset Management Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets including laptops, desktops, software licenses, and mobile devices.
- Service Delivery & SLA Management Monitor and ensure SLA commitments are consistently met; provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- 24/7 Support Coverage Ensure continuous IT support coverage aligned with business requirements.
- Project & Task Execution Ensure IT projects and activities are delivered on time and according to commitments.
- Process Improvement & Reviews Conduct regular reviews of EUCG operations to identify gaps and implement improvements.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain updated documentation on processes, procedures, and inventory; generate and analyze reports regularly.
- Stakeholder Support & Collaboration Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with IT peers on initiatives.
- Vendor Coordination Arrange external technical support when issues cannot be resolved internally.
- Security & Compliance Ensure user access and system security are maintained in line with company policies.
