Schedule: Night shift

Job Description:

What You'll Do:

  • Procurement Operations
  • Create, review, and process purchase requisitions for IT hardware, software, licensing, and related services.
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, and department stakeholders to ensure procurement requests meet budget, policy, and technical requirements.
  • Track order status from requisition through delivery and payment, ensuring accurate and timely updates within Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and audit trails in accordance with company and compliance policies.
  • Support vendor selection, onboarding, and management, including maintaining vendor data in the procurement system.
  • Financial and Contract Administration.
  • Ensure that purchases align with approved budgets, contracts, and sourcing agreements.
  • Review vendor quotes, proposals, and renewal notices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in managing software license renewals, subscription terms, and asset tracking to avoid service interruptions or compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with Finance/Accounts Payable to reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receipts for timely payment processing.
  • Monitor and report on IT spending, savings opportunities, and procurement metrics to support departmental reporting and forecasting.
  • System and Data Management
  • Utilize Oracle Procurement (or similar ERP modules) to create, manage, and track requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier data.
  • Maintain accurate data integrity across Oracle modules (Procurement, Financials, and Assets).
  • Generate and analyze procurement reports for spend visibility, open POs, and supplier performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in procurement workflows.
  • Collaboration and Compliance
  • Partner with IT Asset Management, Security, and Legal teams to ensure software and hardware purchases meet licensing, security, and contractual requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required procurement and asset documentation.
  • Help enforce procurement policies and approval hierarchies to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on proper purchasing and requisition procedures.

Qualification and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 35 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, preferably within a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Procurement modules or equivalent platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, NetSuite) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated background in managing IT hardware, software, and services procurement, including vendor coordination and contract support.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure policy and compliance alignment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management tools and software license tracking practices.
  • Knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, SaaS, enterprise agreements).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple procurement activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements

  • 35 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, preferably within a corporate or technology-driven environment.
