IT Project Quality Assurance Manager

I. Job Summary

The IT Project Quality Assurance Manager provides independent oversight across the IT project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with governance, security, architecture, and regulatory requirements.

The role conducts project health checks, stage-gate reviews, risk assessments, and go-live readiness evaluations to improve project delivery quality and success in coordination with the Program Office Division.

II. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to post-implementation.
• Conduct stage-gate reviews and readiness assessments for key project milestones.
• Monitor compliance with project management, SDLC, security, architecture, and regulatory standards.
• Assess project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery health.
• Review requirements, design, testing, deployment, and project documentation.
• Validate go-live readiness, operational readiness, and benefit realization.
• Prepare QA reports, findings, recommendations, and executive dashboards.
• Support continuous improvement of project governance and delivery practices.

III. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, PMO, QA, audit, governance, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, testing practices, risk management, and IT governance.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CISA, COBIT, ITIL, or CSQA are an advantage.
