We are looking for a Bilingual IT Project Manager (Japanese) to oversee and coordinate IT projects while serving as a key bridge between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate must have 23 years of experience in IT Project Management and be proficient in Japanese (JLPT N1N3).
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end IT projects from planning to implementation and closure
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Communicate project updates, risks, and timelines to Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into clear technical documentation
- Prepare project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
- Monitor project scope, timelines, budget, and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and client discussions in Japanese and English
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 23 years of experience in IT Project Management or IT project coordination
- JLPT Certification (N1, N2, or N3 required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
- Experience working with Japanese clients or stakeholders is an advantage
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
