Product Owner to drive the development of enterprise-grade software products. This role acts as the critical bridge between global business stakeholders and engineering teams, transforming high-level business objectives into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a high-performing professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex product backlogs in an iterative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Strategy
- Requirements Engineering: Lead discovery sessions to collect, analyze, and document complex business requirements, ensuring alignment between global product managers and operational stakeholders.
- Solution Design: Identify business pain points and propose comprehensive end-to-end solutions, including workflow design, prototyping/wireframing, and strategic prioritization.
- Backlog Management: Own and manage the product backlog, translating high-level business needs into detailed epics and user stories with clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
Technical Partnership & Delivery
- Feasibility & Trade-offs: Partner with architects and engineers to perform technical feasibility analyses, define system dependencies, and make informed trade-offs regarding scope, time, and quality.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Synchronize delivery across diverse workstreams (Frontend, Backend, Data, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX) while proactively managing changes and risks.
- Agile Leadership: Facilitate sprint grooming sessions and lead Agile ceremonies (Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure team alignment and drive successful outcomes.
Quality Assurance & Launch Excellence
- Release Management: Support testing and release readiness through UAT coordination, defect triage, and the preparation of comprehensive release notes.
- Success Metrics: Track delivery outcomes and product performance using data-driven metrics to continuously improve process efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Professional Tenure: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or IT/Enterprise System Consulting.
- Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of web applications and system integration fundamentals (APIs, databases, data flows, and authentication).
Technical & Soft Skills
- Communication: Exceptional English proficiency with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical business leaders.
- Agile Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Agile principles and iterative delivery environments.
- Tooling: Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, Figma, and technical documentation tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Learning Agility: Highly self-driven with the ability to quickly master new domains, products, and emerging technical concepts.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
- Advanced Tech: Experience with AI/ML products, OCR/data extraction, or automated document processing workflows.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in Insurance, Fintech, or the Enterprise SaaS domain.
- Data Skills: Familiarity with SQL or BI tools and a strong aptitude for metrics design.
