The IT General Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's technology operations and ensuring that they align with the business objectives. The IT General Manager is responsible for managing and leading the IT team to develop and implement technology strategies that meet the needs of the organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
2. Manage the IT team to ensure that all technology initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
3 Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT operations and security.
4 Ensure that the company's data is secure and that data recovery plans are in place.
5 Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
6 Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT to ensure that the company remains competitive.
7 Develop and manage the IT budget and track expenses.
8 Communicate with executive management to ensure that IT goals and objectives are aligned with the overall business strategy.
9 Manage the IT team's performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
MUST HAVES
Track record in leadership and client facing role in the IT industry
Demonstrates success of driving growth and full ownership of P/L
Track record of building strong client and stakeholder relationships
Experience in technology services business (data protection, information/cybersecurity software development)
25% knowledge in technical aspect 75% on business related aspect
Marketing and business development
Demonstrate the ability to inspire change and transformation
