About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of digital products and software solutions from planning through deployment and post-production support. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
This role combines delivery leadership, stakeholder management, Agile facilitation, and operational coordination to drive successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Project Management
- Lead end-to-end product and software delivery across the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage delivery roadmaps, project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
- Track dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where necessary.
- Monitor delivery progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Agile Delivery & Team Leadership
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Support teams in removing blockers and maintaining delivery momentum.
- Drive accountability and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams.
- Facilitate discussions to align priorities, objectives, and delivery expectations.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Risk, Governance & Compliance
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure delivery activities comply with organisational, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Work with relevant teams to maintain quality assurance and compliance standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Operational Readiness & Support
- Coordinate deployment readiness and post-go-live support activities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth transition into production environments.
- Support operational planning and coordination when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Delivery Management, Programme Management, Agile Delivery, Scrum Master, or similar roles.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end software or digital product delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience working closely with software engineering and product teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with compliance, governance, and quality assurance processes within software delivery.
- PMP, Scrum Master, CSPO, or other Agile/Project Management certifications are advantageous.
- Experience supporting operational readiness and post-deployment activities is a plus.
