The IT Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards. Working closely with Product Owners, technical teams, and key stakeholders, the role oversees project planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and execution using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. As a Scrum Master, the IT Delivery Manager facilitates agile practices, removes delivery roadblocks, and promotes team effectiveness to ensure successful project outcomes while maintaining compliance with IT governance, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, scope, budget, and timelines.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and serve as Scrum Master to promote team productivity and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define priorities, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, status reports, and delivery updates for stakeholders.
• Support backlog prioritization, release planning, and demand management activities.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
• Drive process improvements and best practices across project delivery, Agile, and software development lifecycles.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective communication across business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably within the banking, financial services, or insurance industry.
• Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale technology projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of project management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage project risks, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Knowledge of IT governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
