UnifyCX is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized IT Asset Management Associate Manager to support the effective tracking, monitoring, and governance of IT assets across the organization. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support operational and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with asset management tools, and a solid understanding of IT hardware, software, and lifecycle processes within a fast-paced BPO or shared services environment.
Job Description:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software
- Oversee the full lifecycle of assets from procurement, deployment, maintenance, to retirement
- Handle asset allocation during employee onboarding and retrieval during offboarding
- Ensure all asset records, including licenses, warranties, and service agreements, are accurate and up to date
- Monitor and track movement, utilization, and status of assets across the organization
- Conduct regular audits of hardware and software assets and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
- Support and manage activities related to software license compliance and vendor audits
- Generate reports on asset inventory, utilization, compliance, and trends
- Maintain and improve asset management systems, tools, and databases
- Establish and document processes and procedures related to asset and configuration management
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and operations teams to support business requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, reduce risks, and optimize costs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management or asset analysis
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and asset lifecycle management
- Experience working with asset management tools or ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Solid understanding of software licensing, compliance, and audit processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in a BPO or shared services environment is an advantage
