Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the service delivery of highly complex transactions across multiple domains, performing various financial reports and operational audits, and escalating any issues or potential risks to management. The individual will act as an Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Subject Matter Expert, and process training resource. They will also perform projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the consolidation, preparation, and review of various daily/monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and requirements.
- Process workflow modeling and implementation.
- Assist the production leader in prioritizing work queues and managing workload.
- Lead process audit walkthroughs and completion of Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- Lead in closing audit findings and corrective action plans on existing Archer/Privacy Incidents.
- Provide process training to associates and analysts. Assist in answering product-related queries.
- Identify opportunities within own domain and make recommendations to improve operational processes and practices.
- Liaise with appropriate parties (Business Support) in recommending processes to be improved.
- Serve as the primary contact person for process improvements, initiating process analysis and/or process redesign.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
- LOMA, Canadian Securities Certification, or CFSI is preferred.
- At least 6-8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the Investment/Wealth, Securities, or similar industry.
- BPO/Shared Service experience would be an asset due to our collaboration with multinational teams.
- 2-3 years of product, systems, and processing knowledge on MMF, handling most work types, unless justified.
- Prior experience with AWD, Ifast, and/or Pplus is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
