Responsibilities
- Variance Analysis: Conducting detailed analysis of inventory cost variances to identify the reasons behind discrepancies between actual and expected costs. This involves comparing actual costs with standard costs, investigating the causes of variances, and determining their financial impact.
- Cost Reporting: Generating regular reports and providing analysis on inventory cost variances to management and relevant stakeholders. This includes summarizing and communicating the findings, trends, and recommendations to help in decision-making and cost-control measures.
- Data Analysis: Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to inventory variances
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the root causes of inventory cost variances by collaborating with cross-functional teams. This involves reviewing processes, identifying potential areas of improvement, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future variances.
- Process Improvement: Collaborating with stakeholders to implement process improvements that can help reduce inventory variances. This may involve streamlining processes, optimizing operation processes, or enhancing inventory management practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-fu nctional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of inventory cost-related activities. This includes providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve overall inventory
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a warehouse, with minimum 1 year experience as a Supervisor leading a small team
- Can do, passion and right first time attitude
- Results-driven, strong ability to drive performance standards within the team
- Ability to manage change processes and deliver results under stress
- Coaching and active listening skills
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Work independently without direct supervision
