The Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for monitoring inventory performance, supporting demand and supply planning activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing analytical insights to optimize stock levels and working capital. This role works closely with procurement, warehouse operations, supply chain, and productions teams to ensure the right inventory is available at the right time while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
The role will report to Supply Chain Manager.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels across warehouses and production sites to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Analyze demand trends, seasonality, and historical consumption to support inventory, supply, and demand planning.
- Maintain safety stock levels, reorder points, and inventory parameters to balance service levels and inventory investment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to stockouts, excess, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory.
- Lead regular inventory review, replenishment, and planning cycles, including participation in S&OP processes.
- Prepare inventory forecasts, replenishment recommendations, and escalate demand anomalies or unexpected consumption patterns.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through system monitoring, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation in collaboration with warehouse teams.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate ERP transaction recording.
- Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards covering KPIs such as inventory turnover, DOH, service levels, backorders, and aging stock.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve inventory efficiency, turnover, and working capital.
- Support management reviews through inventory performance analysis and reporting.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, finance, and warehouse teams to support timely replenishment and accurate inventory movements.
- Support initiatives to reduce excess inventory, optimize holding costs, and improve overall inventory performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP and support system, reporting, and dashboard enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Identify inventory-related risks and support mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, or a related field.
- Certification in inventory or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is preferred.
- Good Communication
- At least with experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiar in ERP systems and has advance Microsoft excel
