Inventory Cycle Counter

Responsibilities

1. Cycle counting: Performing regular and systematic inventory counts of specific items or sections within the warehouse. This involves physically counting the stock on hand and comparing it to the recorded inventory levels.

2. Data accuracy: Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records by identifying and investigating any discrepancies between physical counts and system records. This may involve researching and resolving inventory discrepancies, such as missing or misplaced items.

3. Reporting and documentation: Recording and documenting inventory count results, discrepancies, and any adjustments made to inventory levels. This information is important for maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying potential issues or trends.

4. Root cause analysis: Conducting root cause analysis to identify the underlying reasons for inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.

5. Process improvement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory management, including cycle counting procedures, data accuracy, and inventory control measures.

6. System updates: Utilizing inventory management systems or software to update inventory records and ensure accuracy in real-time.

7. Collaboration: Working closely with other warehouse personnel, such as Warehouse Receivers, Pickers, and Inventory Controllers, to ensure proper communication and coordination during the cycle counting process.

8. Compliance and audit support: Assisting in internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data and supporting documentation as required.

Requirements

High School Graduate

with experience in warehousing and warehouse systems
