Internship (Fixed Assets and Supplies / Procurement)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management. The successful candidate will assist the procurement department with a variety of tasks, from sourcing suppliers to managing purchase orders and tracking inventory. This role provides exposure to the procurement process and an opportunity to learn about strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and researching potential suppliers for goods and services.

• Help in the preparation of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.

• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing orders when necessary.

• Support the procurement team with contract management, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.

• Maintain and update procurement databases, records, and files.

• Assist in the negotiation and evaluation of supplier quotes.

• Support the management of supplier relationships and communication.

• Track and report on procurement performance and deliverables.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met efficiently.

• Participate in procurement meetings and provide administrative support.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, and business operations.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
