An Overview of your Role
Conduct independent and objective assessment of the company’s internal controls and monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and government rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identification of current internal control measures for assigned business.
- Objective assessment of the effectiveness of current internal control measures by executing appropriate risk-based sampling and testing approach, if feasible, to determine whether such measures are operating as intended.
- Conducts assigned internal audit programs/projects in accordance with audit standards and agreed-upon timelines.
- Monitors compliance with approved company policies and procedures and government rules and regulations by all units and branches.
- Provides Internal Audit with required inputs for management reporting, as may be requested by Internal Audit Group Head.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate of bachelor’s degree course in Accountancy, Internal Audit, Management Accounting.
- Preferably with 1 year experience in external/internal audit from reputable Auditing firm or in an insurance company.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
