Job Description:
The Internal Audit IT Senior Associate on the Audit team will be responsible for supporting
audits related to Security, Engineering, Data and integrated audits that required IT controls
testing.
What you'll do day-to-day:
- Support the Internal Audit Team with the execution of Robinhood internal audit plan
- Design and execute testing programs, including security, engineering and privacy audits, conduct system implementation reviews, and other technology-related risk areas
- Prepare testing workpapers and other audit documentation (flowcharts, narratives, risk & control matrices) to document controls and audit procedures
- Participating in meetings to take detailed notes, understand, document, and map systems and technology related controls
- Develop methodology and script templates for collecting, transforming and analyzing large data sets, as well as presenting reports and visualizations to Internal Audit leadership
- Identify, design, and develop data analytics extract routines on various platforms such as Looker, Databricks, Python to support audit activities performed by the Internal Audit team
Qualification and requirements:
- 3+ years of technology auditing experience, including IT and Operations auditing, risk management, IT Compliance, Information Security, or software development
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or Computer Engineering)
- Experience assessing environments for privacy/security risk using privacy/security fundamentals (i.e., cookies, encryption, anonymization, perimeter defense, etc.)
- Experience auditing Cyber and Cloud Computing/AWS
- Familiarity with source code management systems and continuous integration processes (github, jenkins, phabricator etc.)
- SQL and Python / Go code readability
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as code technologies
- Be able to work in PST or EST timezone
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with modern financial transaction processing environments for broker-dealer, cryptocurrencies, credit cards etc.
- 3+ years of experience in data management, analysis and reporting using SQL, Looker and Python.
- Familiarity with SQL scripting in Looker, Databricks
- CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CDPSE or CISM certification
