Intermediate Software Engineer

Non Negotiable skills:

- Maintain, review, and correct data records

- Work with MongoDB and IBM Db2 databases

Job Qualifications:

- Graduate of Information Technology or any IT related courses

- Requires at least 3 years in working with MongoDB/DB2 databases

- Able to develop scripts for automation

- Databricks and GCP/BigQuery knowledge is a plus

- Familiarity with Azure

- Able to identify and resolve problems in an efficient manner

- Willing to work in a shifting schedule

- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and can comfortably communicate with our onshore stakeholders.

- Willing to work in a 24x7 shifting schedule

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain, review, and correct data records across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

- Work with MongoDB and IBM Db2 databases to validate datasets, resolve discrepancies, and support system updates.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline data processing, validation, and system maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements, business rules, and technical needs, and deliver solutions aligned with those requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues, providing accurate and validated data inputs to support fixes and enhancements.

- Document data management and validation processes, maintain audit trails of corrections, and contribute to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support and assist business users in reviewing Jira and Case Management tickets.

Onsite / Willing to work on shifting schedule as needed | BGC Taguig

6 months contract | salary offer: up to Php42,000 basic plus 3K Non taxable allowance
