INTERMEDIATE BOOKKEEPER


Location: Clark/Cebu/Manila/Tarlac (Onsite)
Shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT

Experience Required: Minimum 2-3+ years bookkeeping in US accounting firm or SME

ABOUT THIS ROLE. . .
We are looking for a Intermediate Bookkeeper with solid US Bookkeeping experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Categorizing daily accounting transactions using Hubdoc (or similar software) and QBO
  • Manage accounts payable (vendor bills) and accounts receivable (invoices, payments) - as needed/training provided
  • Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy of client financial records
  • Handle payroll end-to-end, including federal and state payroll compliance.
  • Prepare reconciliations and monthly management accounts.
  • Provide cashflow reporting and forecasting for SMEs.
  • Prepare financial reports for tax returns at year-end
  • Prepare required 1099-NECs and 1099-MISC
  • Support junior bookkeepers with training and oversight.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 2-3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with payroll and tax compliance is a plus (can be trained)
  • Comfortable with asking questions of supervisors (no guessing needed)
  • Strong client communication skills - both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple clients
  • Familiarity with 1120S and 1065 preparations and tax laws
  • Ability to read IRS/State notices and form an action plan
