Job Overview:
The Integration Developer / MuleSoft Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration and API solutions using the MuleSoft platform. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-documented integration services while supporting end-to-end project delivery and ongoing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, fix, and unit test API and integration services using the MuleSoft platform.
- Identify, analyze, and drive resolution of integration-related stories, defects, and technical issues, including those arising from external dependencies.
- Provide technical effort estimates for assigned user stories and issues.
- Maintain and update API technical specifications to reflect design or implementation changes.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integration services following best practices and standards.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with Operations teams to coordinate and resolve technical and production issues.
- Prepare, review, and maintain deployment procedures and technical documentation.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in coordination with DevOps teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a MuleSoft Developer or Integration Developer.
- Strong expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule Runtime 4.
- Proven experience in integration and API development, including RESTful API design.
- Experience working with RAML and/or OpenAPI Specification (OAS).
- Strong proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 (DW 2.0).
- Experience with connectivity and messaging technologies such as Kafka, FTP, and SFTP.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, error handling, and security best practices.
