About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Virtual Assistant Group Benefits Assistant to support US-based group benefits operations. This is a back-end administrative role focused on enrollments, terminations, audits, EASE and Employee Navigator administration, and daily operational support.
This role requires working night shift to align with US business hours, ensuring timely processing and coordination with carriers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Submit employee enrollment applications with insurance carriers
- Process employee terminations accurately and within required timelines
- Track, monitor, and process employee changes using EASE and Employee Navigator
- Perform audits on enrollments and terminations to ensure accuracy
- Complete manual entry of employee insurance applications
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the account manager
- Assist in preparing open enrollment presentations and materials
- Support employee enrollments through EASE and Employee Navigator platforms
- Develop and maintain company profiles within EASE and Employee Navigator
- Design and configure EASE portals for company use
- Coordinate with carrier websites and third-party administrators
- Maintain accurate and updated records across all systems
Qualifications
- Proven experience in group benefits administration or insurance back-end support
- Hands-on experience with Employee Navigator (required)
- Hands-on experience using EASE for enrollments and employee changes
- Familiarity with Applied EPIC, carrier portals, and third-party administrators
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail in audits, enrollments, and terminations
- Comfortable with manual data entry and repetitive administrative work
- Must be willing and able to work NIGHT SHIFT aligned with US business hours
- Schedule aligns with US Pacific Time operations (Area Code 310)
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
