Your Role As an
IV/Auth Auditor, you will:
IV/Auth Auditing- Audit IV/Auth specialists and audit the auditors to ensure accuracy expectations are met.
- Perform quality checks and audits on visits worked by IV/Auth specialists according to client SOPs.
- Conduct calibration audits to align team performance with client standards.
IV/Auth Audit Reporting- Suggest improvements and schedule calibration sessions with offshore team counterparts and leaders.
- Prepare audit reports and provide feedback to IV/Auth specialists and auditors on areas of opportunity.
- Participate in client interactions and internal stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure compliance with IV/Auth guidelines, initiate corrective actions as needed, and prevent errors prior to rebilling.
- Conduct analysis and present findings to leadership clearly, concisely, and actionably.
- Immediately escalate any compliance risks or issues to leadership.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You NeedNon-negotiables- Minimum of 3 years IV/Auth experience.
- Senior High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency with hospital EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (CEFR B2 minimum) and customer service skills.
Preferred skills / expertise- At least 1 year of IV/Auth auditing experience.
- Bacheloru0027s degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Prior experience with US healthcare providers or payers.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions, exercise discretion, and work autonomously.
- Demonstrates teamwork, integrity, and professionalism in all activities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Safeguards patient health information in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Aligns with Huronu0027s vision, values, and professional standards in all decisions and practices.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Timely completion of audits with feedback and actionable plans.
- Maintains high-quality standards for QA work.
