Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with insurance companies regarding claims and recommend course of action when settlement cannot be negotiated.
  • Prepare reports/evidence to support company insurance claims.
  • Investigate and analyze information gathered in all company vehicular accidents and ascertain the extent of liability/claim on behalf of the company.
  • Drafts formal demand letters as well as correspondence to other parties.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts-customer calls, review accounts adjustment, resolve client discrepancies etc.
  • Enlist the efforts of sales and management when necessary to accelerate collection process.
  • Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
  • Locate and notify customers with delinquent accounts by telephone and email.
  • Generate monthly reports on the status of accounts in general.
  • Perform all other functions that may be assigned to him/her from time to time.

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of any bachelors degree course, preferably business or accounting.
  • At least two (2) years experience in a related field.
  • Knowledgeable in processing insurance claims.
  • Has strong negotiating and customer service skills.
  • Able to multi-task, can work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Can work minimum supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
