Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspection of optical parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Check surface quality, dimensions, and defects using appropriate inspection tools and equipment.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming parts to production and quality teams.
- Monitor process trends and support corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
- Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and contamination control procedures.
Education & Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in engineering, optics, or quality control is an advantage.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inspection, quality control, or optical manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with optical components, surface inspection standards, and measurement tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of process documentation and quality systems.

- Strong attention to detail and defect detection skills
- Knowledge of optical surface and dimensional inspection
- Ability to use inspection and measurement tools accurately
- Basic understanding of quality standards and process control
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work closely with production teams

Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Requires working in cleanroom or controlled areas with strict contamination control.
- Involves prolonged standing, detailed visual inspection, and use of microscopes or measuring instruments.
- May require handling delicate optical components and following strict safety procedures.
