What will you do
- Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across all infrastructure components.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with software development, operations, and security teams to support business needs.
- Coordinate with external vendors, telco providers, and other IT suppliers for procurement, implementation, and support of infrastructure solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Oversee the management of vendors, telecommunications providers, and other IT suppliers.
- Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
What do you need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
- Experience in vendor management and coordination, including contract negotiation and SLA management.
- Experience managing telco and other IT suppliers is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) are a plus.
