Job Description:
As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement and enforce security best practices across all infrastructure components.
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Collaborate with software development, operations, and security teams to support business needs.
Coordinate with external vendors, telco providers, and other IT suppliers for procurement, implementation, and support of infrastructure solutions.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
Oversee the management of vendors, telecommunications providers, and other IT suppliers.
Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and procedures.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
Experience in vendor management and coordination, including contract negotiation and SLA management.
Experience managing telco and other IT suppliers is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) are a plus.
