Infrastructure Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize our on‑prem, virtual, and cloud environments while ensuring secure, reliable network operations across the company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Employment Type: Regular

Work Set-up: Once a week onsite

Location: Ortigas, Pasig City

Key Responsibilities

• Manage physical servers, cloud servers (Azure, PhoenixNap), and virtualization platforms
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, IPSec tunnels, and firewalls
• Install, configure, and support Linux systems, workstations, and network components
• Collaborate with client IT teams to set up and troubleshoot connectivity
• Ensure network performance, availability, and security
• Develop procedures for maintenance, backups, and recovery
• Provide technical support and resolve infrastructure issues with minimal downtime

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• at least 3 years experience with Terraform and AWS experience
• withLinux admin experience (CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Strong background in open‑source tools and virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack, Xen, Proxmox)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Proficiency in Git/SVN, Squid, OpenLDAP, DHCP, DNS, NGINX, Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Asterisk PBX
• Solid understanding of networking (LAN, VLAN, VPN, IPSec, firewalls)
• Hardware/software troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Cisco switches (advantage)
