The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
Manage the effective governance of the project and reporting arrangements in-line with the
overall project management framework;
Oversee the delivery of all projects and work-streams within the specified scope of work;
monitor each project's health to ensure they are all progressing as appropriate;
Maintain a cross-project view and manage the overall project business case to keep them within
scope & budget and where this is not possible, renegotiate the scope & budget with the project
team & project sponsor;
Engage with key stakeholders across the project cycle and proactively disseminating project
information to all key stakeholders;
Upkeep of project status and plans within the ITD project management framework and
supporting tools;
Regular reporting to all stakeholders & the Project Team project progress, risks and issues;
Will be responsible for tracking project progress, and following progress based on predefined
schedule and scope;
Plans and directs quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitors project status in
comparison to cost/time projections;
Ensure that the projects deliver the promised functionality to agreed quality standards.
Influences and manages expectations of senior business partners, principals and IT leadership.
Qualifications
Completed a Bachelor's Degree education in IT/Computer/Engineering courses; or similar
Significant years of experience (5+ years) in project management in IT Operations environment,
retail or anything similar or related;
Proven experience of working with diverse teams and stakeholders;
Personable character and an exceptional communicator ability to communicate on a different
level both written and verbal;
