Job Title: Network Operations Manager / Network Lead (Cisco)
Location: Alabang Muntinlupa
Work Mode: Onsite 5 Days a Week
Shift: Primary support for US Business Hours with 24x7 support coverage
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager / Network Lead to manage and lead a team of network engineers supporting a hightraffic, enterprise network environment. This role requires deep expertise in Cisco networking and security technologies, strong people management skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network performance, security compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence, while leading teams working on the design, deployment, and support of Cisco-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers supporting Cisco network infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance, performance oversight, and escalation support.
- Manage ongoing engagement with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders.
- Ensure high service quality, SLA adherence, and effective issue resolution.
Network Operations & Technical Leadership
- Oversee configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
- Experience with installation, configuration, and support of:
- Cisco ASA
- Cisco Firepower
- IPS
- Routers & Switches
- Cisco AnyConnect
- Working knowledge and experience with Proxy infrastructure and Checkpoint firewall management.
Security Compliance & Audit Management
- Own and manage internal, external, and client-driven audits.
- Ensure continuous network security and compliance through:
- Security patch management
- IOS upgrades
- Audit log reviews
- Access control enforcement
- Maintenance of network security standards and guidelines
- Identify, track, and mitigate audit risks and findings in a timely manner.
Network Performance & Reporting
- Assess and monitor network performance against business requirements.
- Prepare and present network performance, capacity, and availability reports.
- Drive network planning activities, including:
- Capacity planning
- Hardware/software upgrades
- Technology refresh and replacement strategies
ITIL Process & Operational Governance
- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices, including:
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Capacity Management
- Vendor Management
- Oversee and participate in disaster recovery (DR) operations and testing.
Availability & Support
- Provide 24x7 support availability, including nights and weekends as required.
- Support US business hours and participate in on-call and escalation rotations.
- Handle highseverity incidents with strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Ensure creation and maintenance of:
- Network diagrams
- Design documents
- Operational runbooks
- Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation to support design, planning, and operational continuity.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 815 years of overall experience in network operations, with strong exposure to enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in team leadership or people management roles.
Mandatory Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
