IT Manager
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the support team, ensuring that the application is always available, handling incidents with minimal interruption on the business, assisting users on new initiatives, and recommending solutions to new business initiatives.
1.1 Analyze issues and their impact on business and other applications
1.2 Elevate critical issues to the application vendor and push for an immediate solution
1.3 Recommend alternative solutions to issues to soften the impact on business operations
1.4 Report the impact of the issues to the IT Manager and provide an update until a permanent resolution is provided
1.5 Drive root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences
2.1 Review and approve change requests related to applications
2.2. Assess the impact of changes on applications
2.3 Prepares Project Plan of Activities
2.4 Ensure proper planning and communication to minimize operational disruptions and risks.
2.5 Facilitate discussions and consensus among various teams, such as developers, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
2.6 Keep the team aware of the development of the projects
2.7 Ensure changes are adequately tested before deployment to production
3.1 Evaluate new requirements and recommendations by challenging necessity, usability, clarity, and cost
3.2 Identify opportunities for process improvement
