Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead and oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure and software within the organization such as project planning, resource allocation, and project implementation that is in line with the organization's standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for Business Partners and other Technology Teams for any IT related concerns Business Partners and/or IT Teams
  • Manage the Business Unit's Technology Roadmap
  • Manage technology teams relevant to the delivery of projects and IT services including, but not limited to, Project Managers, Technical Analysts, Application Managers, Solutions Architects, Developers, Quality Assurance Officers, UI UX Designers, etc.
  • Oversee and delegate high-level business requirements based on demand and any IT-related concerns
  • Oversee the health and status of the portfolio projects and support issues
  • Collaborates with Project Management, Technical Analyst and Application Management and other technology groups in developing a strategy for the project lifecycle application and integration portfolio, and in recommending IT solutions to meet Business Unit needs
  • Conducts portfolio update meetings at the Executive Level to determine technology requirements and understand its impact to the overall business strategy, and to manage support concerns and escalations.
  • Provide strategic consulting level support (together with Application Subject-Matter-Experts, Technical Analysts and Solution Architects) to Business Units
  • Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to the Executive level and all appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives
  • Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.
  • Work with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities, prioritize projects, and perform strategic planning at the portfolio level
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal/external partners and sponsors to ensure key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the project life cycle
  • Prioritization of portfolio projects and Business Unit demands, and strategic capacity planning and alignment of projects and ideas at the portfolio level

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience and technical training
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Project Management, Business Analysis and client leadership required with proven track record of success in managing complex projects related to delivering software, hardware or IT infrastructure solutions
  • Preferred to have PMP and/or ITIL certifications (but not required)
  • Willing to work in MOA Square, Pasay City
