Role Description
The IT Assistant is a full-time, on-site position based in Makati, responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and maintaining the hotel's IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment. This role includes monitoring and troubleshooting issues across the property management system (PMS), point-of-sale (POS), Wi-Fi/network infrastructure, and end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals) to minimize downtime and ensure smooth guest and staff operations. The IT Assistant maintains IT asset inventories, user accounts, and access permissions, and assists in system backups, software updates, and basic cybersecurity practices such as antivirus monitoring and password policy compliance. The role also involves coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, software licensing, and system upgrades, as well as supporting departments (Front Office, F&B, Sales, HR) with technical troubleshooting and training on hotel systems. The IT Assistant maintains basic documentation of IT incidents, resolution times, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement of system reliability.
