Job Description

About the Role

As Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's information assets through proactive monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, security hardening, and implementation of cybersecurity controls.

What You'll Own

  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across endpoints, networks, and enterprise systems.
  • Manage and optimize SIEM platforms, including rule tuning, alert triage, and log analysis.
  • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings and remediation steps.
  • Administer and maintain endpoint security solutions (EDR/antivirus/DLP) to ensure consistent protection across the environment.
  • Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in coordination with IT and infrastructure teams.
  • Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, email security, identity/access management tools, etc.).
  • Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SecOps, Cyber Engineering, or Security Infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security tools and practices (EDR, antivirus, DLP)
  • Working knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and identity/access management solutions

Preferred Certifications (not required)

  • CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001
  • Microsoft Security Suite (SC-200, SC-300, SC-100, AZ-500)
  • CompTIA Security+ / CEH
