Your Role:

As an Information Security Engineer, you will:

Monitor and manage technical security controls, including Endpoint Protection, Email Security Gateways, SIEM, and Web proxies.
Investigate network and endpoint compromises by leading end-to-end incident response and forensic handling.
Automate manual workflows and intelligence gathering through scripting to enhance threat hunting capabilities.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues to resolution by collaborating with vendor support and internal stakeholders.
Generate operational reports for management by collating and analyzing security data to track system health and risk.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

At least 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role within a medium to large organization.
Proven hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, and Privileged Identity & Access Management (PIM/PAM).
Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end incident response and investigations of system compromises.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional reporting to management and technical staff.
Proven history of working in a position of trust with the ability to function under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills/expertise

Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
Experience in proactive threat hunting and identifying potential network vulnerabilities.
Strong attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
Experience in managing Web Proxies and Email Security Gateways.
Familiarity with producing high-level operational metrics and KPIs for executive review.
