YOUR ROLE

CAPACITY PLANNING , ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT

  • Provides capacity analysis based on CCRP in consideration of current month's volume mix, package complexity and machine capability
  • Calculates equipment and tooling requirements per CCRP. Determines if there are equipment excesses or shortages
  • Proposes equipments to be bagged or shut-down
  • Calculates equipment requirements of both ST and STE and provides proposal for Asset transfer or investment
  • Provides STE and ST equipment cost allocation
  • Provides inputs for Mid-term HC and Layout Planning
  • Releases monthly capacity and saturation assessment per cost center, including capacity ramp-up charts
  • Proposes capacity improvement activities (such as improvement in UPH, Utilization and Efficiency) to avoid or minimize capital investment
  • Drives Manufacturing to improve output and capacity according to standards.
  • Drives and monitors More Output In Installed Base (MOOI) or Capacity Increase on Installed Base (CIIB) Projects
  • Supports OEE and TUI Improvement

EQUIPMENT DELIVERY AND PROJECT SPENDING

  • Provides weekly update on equipment delivery
  • Works with equipment owners for the timely arrival, qualification and setting up of required equipments
  • Monitors project approval and project spending
  • Ensures PR/PO are raised and issued on time to support ramp-up

INVESTMENT ANALYSIS

  • Assesses if there are equipments that can be transferred from other product lines or from other sites before proceeding with investment
  • Prepares and justifies needed investment and follows up CAR approval
  • Provides allocation of equipments per work center, utilization, and other technical standards

IEDB, VACT AND COSTING SUPPORT

  • Proposes creation of new cost centers and work centers for new packages
  • Provides equipment inventory allocation per work center, utilization and other technical standards
  • Provides depreciation cost analysis
  • Oversees/performs establishment of processing time including post operation and pre-operation time for existing packages

REPORTS & STANDARDS

  • Generates monthly BEMT Reports - MCRP report and Capacity Bamboo Charts
  • Prepares DLC and saturation per cost center and capacity ramp up reports (monthly).
  • OEE Spotfire validation for uptime report.
  • Validates and updates DLC report (monthly)
  • Updates equipment inventory and tooling inventory report (weekly)
  • Prepares and publishes equipment delivery report (weekly)
  • Provides capacity simulation and technical standards for new packages that will be encoded in IEDB (as needed)
  • Provides implemented capacity improvement summary (monthly)

DEMONSTRATED LINE CAPACITY (DLC)

  • Provides updated DLC to Resource Planning for the monthly assessment of SNOP
  • Establishes standard UPH and utilization
  • Monitors actual output especially of bottleneck stations
  • Validates DLC regularly and on timely basis
  • Provides UPH and Capacity Simulation for new packages
