The Industrial Acquisition Specialist drives the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of industrial real estate acquisitions. This mid-senior level role focuses on building deal pipeline through broker and owner outreach while coordinating due diligence activities. The position requires managing acquisition opportunities from initial review through closing in a fast-paced investment environment. Key activities include relationship building, deal screening, and cross-functional collaboration with underwriting, legal, and finance teams. Success depends on strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain consistent follow-through across multiple active deals.

  • Source and track industrial acquisition opportunities through strategic broker and owner outreach initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, sellers, and market intermediaries to expand deal flow
  • Screen deals and conduct preliminary property evaluations to identify viable investment opportunities
  • Coordinate comprehensive due diligence activities across internal teams including underwriting, legal, finance, and asset management
  • Manage acquisition pipeline and timelines using CRM systems while ensuring consistent communication across all active deals

Requirements

  • 35 years of documented experience in industrial real estate acquisitions
  • Strong, working knowledge of Bay Area industrial market dynamics
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Ability to draft clear, professional correspondence with minimal grammatical or communication errors
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and standard business productivity tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple acquisition opportunities simultaneously with strong organization and follow-through
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of real estate transaction processes and deal flow management
  • Ability to independently coordinate cross-functional due diligence across underwriting, legal, finance, and asset management teams
  • Experience preparing detailed deal summaries and complete acquisition documentation
