Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled ERP Specialist with strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support system customization, integrations, and ongoing ERP optimization.

In this role, you will develop custom functionality using AL language, build reports, create system integrations, and collaborate closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of ERP architecture, Business Central modules, and technical problem-solving.

You will work across multiple client projects, helping organizations configure, enhance, and maintain their ERP environments to support operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Central Development

• Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL language
• Build extensions and custom functionality tailored to client requirements
• Ensure solutions follow Business Central development best practices

Reporting & Data Management

• Design, build, and maintain Word and RDLC reports
• Deliver reporting solutions that meet client operational and financial needs
• Ensure reports are optimized for performance and usability

Integrations & APIs

• Create and maintain APIs for system integrations
• Support connectivity with third-party platforms and external systems
• Ensure reliable and secure data exchange between systems

ERP Configuration & Optimization

• Configure and optimize Business Central modules including:
• Supply Chain
• Manufacturing
• Financial modules
• Align system functionality with client business processes

Collaboration & Solution Design

• Work closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide guidance on best practices and system capabilities

System Support & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting system performance
• Ensure high system reliability and uptime
• Support user adoption and front-end functionality

System Improvements & Projects

• Participate in system upgrades and data migrations
• Support ongoing performance improvements
• Manage multiple project assignments across various client environments

Requirements:

Technical Experience

• 35 years of experience developing with AL in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Demonstrated experience building Word and RDLC reports
• Strong experience with ERP customization, extensions, and integrations
• Solid understanding of Business Central architecture and development patterns

ERP Knowledge

• Experience working with Business Central modules such as:
• Supply chain
• Manufacturing
• Logistics
• Finance
• Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies

Integration & Development Skills

• Experience building APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity with Business Central front-end functionality and user workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges

Professional Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
