Job Description

Cosmotech Philippines, Inc. is looking for an Implementation and Training Associate who will be responsible for the implementation of the system/ project to production environment through effective facilitation of user acceptance testing (UAT), transfer of technology to process owners and technical end users, complete data migration, and successful system implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. User Acceptance Training. Tasks include conducting system presentation for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the process owners, coordinating program related issues to Quality Assurance group for simulation, replication and fixing or resolution by the development team, monitoring and ensuring that all reported issues are addressed, resolved by the development team, validated and closed by the user community, and reporting of UAT status.
  2. Training or Transfer of Technology. Tasks include preparing of training outline and training materials, working closely with the development team to ensure that the training materials accurately reflect the features and functionality of the software or technology, and conducting users training, preparation and issuance of training certificates.
  3. Implementation. Tasks include coordinating the deployment of the software or system to production environments and ensuring that it is installed, configured, and operational, coordinating the system installation, configuration and system updating with the development team, security and network group under test environment, facilitating actual data migration, reporting and monitoring, and facilitating pilot testing and/or parallel run.
  4. Documentation. Tasks include documenting User Acceptance Test plans, training plan, training materials, implementation procedures and implementation status.
  5. Collaboration. Tasks include collaborating with other team members, such as developers and other business analysts to ensure that testing, training, and implementation are integrated into the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any IT or Engineering related course; post graduate degree is an advantage but not required.
  • Two to three years of experience in software development or project development, requirements, verification and validation is a must for this position.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of performance metrics, project management tools, and best practices in the field of information technology.
  • Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and resolve conflicts among team members.
  • Has organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor progress.
  • Can lead by example and foster a collaborative and quality-oriented team culture.
  • With problem-solving skills, decisive, assertive, and coaching ability.
  • Proficient in MS office, Project Management tools and other related development tools.
  • PMP, PMA, LSS or any related certification is an advantage but not required.

Target starting date for this position will be on the last week of January or first week of February 2024.
