Job Summary**
The Image Processing Operator will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of digital images, ensuring high quality and adherence to established standards. This role involves using specialized software to manipulate, enhance, and organize images for various business purposes.
Job Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain image processing software and equipment to perform tasks such as scanning, cropping, resizing, color correction, and retouching of digital images.
- Ensure the consistent application of image quality standards, guidelines, and specifications across all processed images.
- Perform quality control checks on processed images to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
- Organize and manage digital image files, including naming conventions, archiving, and retrieval, in accordance with company protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to understand image requirements and deliver processed images in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to image processing software or hardware, escalating more complex problems to IT support.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report on progress as required.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve image processing workflows and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to data security and confidentiality.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certificate in graphic design, photography, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience working with image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Lightroom).
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual quality and consistency.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of image file formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG, TIFF) and their characteristics.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience in a BPO or data processing environment is advantageous.
