We have a great opportunity for a ICT (ELV) Design Engineer, based in the Philippines as part of a workshare team, remotely assisting our UAE office.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design of ICT systems including but not limited to Telecommunication, Radio Communication System, GSM Systems, Electronic Security Systems, Structured Cabling System including Passive and Active components design, from conceptual design phase to construction phase.
- Produce necessary ICT calculations, including CCTV Field of View and Lense Calculation, Recording Time and Capacity Calculation, Wi-Fi Heat maps etc.
- Prepare design drawings mark-ups, calculations, material quantity take-off (when required), reports, technical specifications, and other design-related documents relevant to the design task
- Assists in the preparation and issuance of ELV Systems packages including drawings, single-line diagrams, technical design reports, schedules, and specifications.
- Produce a compliant design with all local authorities (Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, SIRA, etc.).
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum of 5 years of design experience in Telecom, Security, and AV experience in Middle East projects is preferable.
- Extensive experience in engineering and design of ELV & Security systems
- Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors, including high rise, commercial, residential, retail, Healthcare, Industrial, refurbishment, etc
- Knowledge of ELV calculations.
- Software capability in BIM360 and Revit.
- Detailed knowledge of international design standards such as BICSI, TIA Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, SIRA.
- Producing a compliant design with all local UAE authorities and obtaining all required design NOC/s..
This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City, or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base/location.
Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
