Your Role:
- Monitor and evaluate the adequacy & effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate identified risks in financial reporting.
- Provide proactive consultation in identifying risk exposures and recommending solutions for weaknesses and regulatory compliance issues.
- Execute internal control examinations and review evidence.
- Document testing results in a comprehensive and organized manner.
- Develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Gain a deep understanding of business practices, including applicable systems, tools, and procedures.
- Identify gaps and deficiencies in internal controls.
- Contribute to sustaining reliable and transparent financial reporting.
- Drive and monitor compliance of business managed applications.
- Lead document management governance.
- Consolidate and review ISO Integrated Management Review (ISO 9001 & 14001).
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Audit.
- At least 4 years of experience in audit or internal control testing.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and experienced with SAP ERP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Cross-functional and customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport with employees and managers at all levels.
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills and ability to achieve mission-oriented and value-based results.
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills; ability to complete multiple concurrent tasks within close deadlines with high accuracy and detail.
- Preferably experienced in compliance topics such as ISO management.
- Familiarity with industry standards/frameworks such as ISO, SOX, and COSO is a plus.
- Fluent in business English or a native English speaker.
- Amenable to work in any shift schedule and willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
