Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and produce accurate and detailed REVIT models for hydraulic services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and design teams to integrate hydraulic services into larger project models.
- Work on large-scale commercial, residential, and healthcare developments, ensuring efficiency and precision in designs.
- Coordinate and manage model revisions, addressing design changes and project updates.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards and building codes related to hydraulic services.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within models to optimize design solutions.
- Development of detailed hydraulic services construction shop drawings from Revit models
Required Experience
- Proven experience in REVIT modelling with a focus on hydraulic services.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic services, including:
- Sewer drainage and sanitary plumbing (gravity).
- Stormwater drainage and roof drainage.
- Potable water services (hot and cold).
- Non-potable/recycled water systems.
- Fire services (hydrants and hose reels).
- Tanks, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, and healthcare projects.
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Hydraulic Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in REVIT MEP and other relevant software.
A Successful Candidate Must Have
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Commitment to meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Understanding of Australian plumbing and building codes.
- Proficient With REVIT MEP and associated BIM coordination tools.
- AutoCAD (desirable).
- Navisworks for clash detection (desirable)
