Job Description
Hydraulic System Design
- Design and document hydraulic systems for buildings in adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct design calculations, reviews, and provide comprehensive documentation for system installations.
Project Delivery
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration by extracting and compiling precise client briefs.
- Manage project timelines diligently, coordinating resources efficiently to meet project demands and ensure timely delivery.
Technical
- Actively seek and implement best practices in hydraulic engineering techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest engineering software and supplier equipment to efficiently deliver hydraulic services.
Collaboration and Communication
- Foster collaboration among multi-disciplinary teams, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Integrate hydraulic measures into building designs and construction plans effectively.
Learning and Development
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in hydraulic services.
- Commit to continuous learning and professional development activities.
Success Measures
- Successful implementation of hydraulic systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Effective collaboration with project teams for seamless integration of hydraulic measures.

Skills And Experience
- Experience in hydraulic design, particularly plumbing and drainage.
- Experience coordinating design disciplines.
- Good understanding of Building Services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with all stakeholders.
- Understanding of Australian Building Codes & Standards is favourable.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Open, supportive, and accessible.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Qualifications in Hydraulic Engineering preferred.
