To keep all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in good state of maintenance and repair.
To check frequently all major air handling units for correct function and performance, cleanliness of filters, drive belt tension and lubrication of bearings.
To perform regular preventive maintenance of all air handling units and refrigeration equipment in accordance with the schedule.
To check daily temperatures of all refrigerated stores and inspect the respective condensing units for proper function
To carry out repairs to air conditioning and refrigeration equipment when necessary.
To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform, particularly when working in guests areas.
To perform duties outside the scope of his trade in case of emergency, if so called upon.
Qualifications
Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment.
Knowledge of aircon /refrigeration and ventilation systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC machinery.
Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Familiarity with safety standards and health regulations in HVAC equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Relevant technical certification or trade license preferred.
