Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Specialist based in the FLC Center, Subangdaku, Mandaue City, Cebu.
Starting salary of ₱20,000 - ₱25,000/month for qualified applicants (negotiable based on experience and upon interview) + complete mandated benefits upon hiring and performance-based bonuses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as an HR Specialist, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong connections with recruitment agencies and job boards to effectively source qualified applicants
- Proficient in evaluating candidates through effective interviewing methods, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Experience in HRIS or related systems
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract skilled workers for nationwide construction projects.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening, including scheduling and conducting interviews, salary negotiations, and conducting reference and background checks.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards to source candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for high-demand construction roles (e.g., engineers, site managers, skilled laborers).
- Coordinate with project managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, retention rates, and turnover.
- Analyze recruitment effectiveness and provide data-driven insights to management.
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and final settlements.
- Monitor accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, certifications, and training logs.
- Monitor organizational chart
- Monitor proper documentation for legal compliance.
