Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Employee and Labor Relations
- Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases
- Support implementation of company policies and code of conduct
- Facilitate investigations and documentation for employee relations cases
- Maintain harmonious labor-management relations and support union engagements/CBA implementation where applicable
- Coordinate employee communication and engagement activities
2. Recruitment and Onboarding
- Support manpower requisition and hiring requirements for plant operations
- Ensure timely deployment of employees to operations
3. Attendance, Timekeeping, and Payroll Coordination
- Monitor attendance, overtime, leaves, and absenteeism trends
- Validate timekeeping records and coordinate payroll concerns
- Ensure accuracy of manpower reports and employee records
- Coordinate with agency partners for contractual manpower concerns if applicable
4. Performance Management
- Support implementation of performance management processes
- Monitor probationary evaluations and regularization requirements
- Assist managers in cascading goals and conducting performance discussions
- Track completion of performance review documentation
5. Training and Capability Building
- Coordinate training schedules and learning interventions for plant employees
- Monitor mandatory and compliance training completion
- Support leadership and skills development initiatives
- Maintain training records and documentation
6. Employee Engagement and Culture
- Implement employee engagement and wellness programs
- Organize company events, recognition activities, and CSR initiatives
- Gather employee feedback and recommend improvement actions
7. Compliance and Policy Administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations
- Support DOLE, OSH, and other labor-related audit requirements
- Maintain 201 files and HR documentation
- Prepare HR reports and manpower analytics as required
8. Health, Safety, and Workplace Support
- Partner with EHS/Safety teams to support workplace safety programs
- Coordinate employee medical concerns and clinic-related requirements
- Support return-to-work and incident documentation processes
- Participate in emergency response and plant-wide compliance initiatives
9. Workforce Planning and Manpower Coordination
- Monitor plant manpower movements, vacancies, and attrition
- Coordinate staffing requirements with operations leaders
- Support workforce planning and manpower optimization initiatives
- Track agency/vendor manpower performance where applicable
10. Administrative and HR Operations Support
- Facilitate HR documentation, memos, and employee communications
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Prepare presentations and HR reports for plant leadership
- Assist in implementation of HR projects and process improvements
