Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager

Experience Required: 4+ years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead people operations across our global team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all employee-related matters – from daily email correspondence and performance meetings to onboarding, offboarding (including terminations), and conflict resolution. You will work directly with employees across different time zones, ensuring smooth communication, policy enforcement, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full employee lifecycle: recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance reviews, career development, and offboarding (including conducting termination meetings and handling exit processes).
  • Serve as the main HR contact for all employees, responding to inquiries via email, Slack/Teams, and scheduled check-ins.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, team touchpoints, and formal performance discussions; document action items and follow up on improvement plans.
  • Lead employee relations – mediate minor disputes, investigate concerns, and escalate as needed.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, employment laws, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, generate offer letters, contracts, termination letters, and other documentation using secure platforms (training provided on templates).
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and reviews across multiple time zones.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies, succession planning, and workforce management.
  • Track HR KPIs (turnover, time-to-fill, employee satisfaction) and provide regular reports to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of proven HR management experience, preferably in a remote or international environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and offboarding procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – you will draft clear, professional emails, policies, and legal documents.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, or similar platforms; comfortable with digital document signing and file organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations (terminations, disputes) with empathy, discretion, and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones.
