Job Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws. This role ensures that HR strategies align with the organization's goals while promoting a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Coordinate with department heads to identify hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.

2. Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular employee feedback and satisfaction surveys.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and development plans.
  • Identify training and development needs to enhance workforce capability.

4. Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer payroll, salary structures, and benefits programs.
  • Benchmark compensation packages to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Recommend adjustments or enhancements to maintain equity and retention.

5. HR Policy and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Update HR policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

6. Organizational Development

  • Support strategic initiatives such as succession planning and culture-building programs.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Facilitate leadership and employee development workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have a Food Manufacturing Industry expereince
