Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position as a Human Resources Manager located in Cebu. The Human Resources Manager will oversee recruitment processes, manage employee relations, develop and implement HR policies, and ensure compliance with labor laws. This role requires fostering a productive and inclusive workplace culture, leading training and professional development initiatives, and supporting workforce planning. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager will manage performance reviews and help align HR strategies with the organization's objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement HR policies and programs designed for the unique demands of the BPO industry.
  • Lead and manage annual performance appraisal cycles, ensuring consistency and clear communication across HRBPs and supervisors. Partner with management to drive higher performance.
  • Research and develop policies supporting employee engagement and business goals within the BPO sector.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and executives to embed culture initiatives and measurable outcomes in HR programs.
  • Act as a counselor, mentor, and strategic consultant to business leaders, translating business needs into effective HR initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics like employee retention, turnover, and engagement to identify improvements tailored to the BPO context.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably within the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry. Strong foundation in HR Generalist functions, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, competency-based interviewing, and leading training and development programs tailored to a fast-paced BPO environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Development Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) advantageous but not required.
  • Familiarity with digital HR tools and HR analytics is a plus.
