Job Description

The HR Lead will oversee and manage the offshored HR Shared Services team based in Clark, Philippines. This role is responsible for day-to-day operations, service delivery performance, people leadership, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across the HR Shared Services function, for employees based in Singapore. The team supports employees, HR stakeholders, and functional leaders across Singapore.

This is a fully onsite role and will act as the primary link between the Singapore HR leadership team and the offshored Shared Services operation. The HR Lead will ensure alignment, compliance, operational excellence, and a strong employee engagement culture within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & People Management
  • Lead end-to-end HR operations for dnata Singapore, including mentoring, and developing the HR Shared Services team to deliver high-quality, compliant and timely HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong team morale, engagement, and performance through coaching, regular check-ins, and individual development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • HR Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex or sensitive HR operational issues, ensuring timely resolution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR service delivery including HR administration, recruitment, onboarding & offboarding support, employee lifecycle transactions, performance management, learning and development, HR data management and reporting, benefits coordination, employee engagement,

HR system support and ticket resolution .

  • Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards are consistently met and proactively address performance gaps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Managing Director, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and other internal stakeholders locally and in Singapore to ensure seamless execution of HR and people-related processes.

Process Improvement & Digital Enablement

  • BUSINESS DOCUMENT This document is intended for business use and should be distributed to intended recipients only.
  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Simplify workflows, optimize digital tools, and drive automation and standardization across HR processes.
  • Support the effective implementation and adoption of HR technology enhancements.
  • HR Systems, Data & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to the Singapore HR leadership team.
  • Monitor data accuracy and integrity across HR systems including SAP HR or other HRIS platforms ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, effective reporting, and working closely with IT to resolve system issues and support enhancements.

Governance

  • Ensure compliance with local Philippines and Singapore employment laws, internal policies, and the dnata governance manual.
  • Maintain HR policy governance by partnering with Centres of Excellence to ensure HR policies and SOPs remain current, compliant, and consistently applied
  • Ensure robust data privacy controls and safeguard confidential information.
  • Maintain audit readiness and adherence to internal HR controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR Operations or Business partnering, ideally within a shared services or offshore environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role with team management responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment-related legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of Philippines and Singapore labour law will be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of SAP HR and HRIS systems will be an advantage.
