Job Description

Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) is the largest business-led non-governmental organization (NGO) in the Philippines, established in 1970 to lead the private sector's efforts in poverty reduction. Founded by 50 business leaders, it encourages companies to fulfill their corporate social responsibility (CSR) by pooling resources and expertise to support sustainable development.

Location: Mandaluyong (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Project-Based (until December 31, 2026)

ROLE SUMMARY

The HR Generalist provides operational support across the full spectrum of human resources functions. The role is dedicated to the ACCESS TB project, ensuring that all HR activities from recruitment to employee engagement are executed efficiently and in strict compliance with PBSP policies and labor standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform initial paper screening of applicants based on project requirements, as needed.

2. Assist the compensation and benefits team in the consolidation of statutory benefit claims (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and HMO enrollments.

3. Maintain and regularly update physical, digital 201 files, and HRIS records, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and kept confidential.

4. Prepare routine HR certifications (e.g., Certificate of Employment) as requested by staff.

5. Help disseminate information regarding company policies and procedures to ensure staff awareness.

6. Assist in the preparation of administrative notices or memos under the guidance of the HR Officer (ER).

7. Help monitor the timely submission of performance evaluation forms from various units.

8. Draft routine HR correspondence and reports related to project personnel.

9. Provide logistical support for company events, staff meetings, and employee engagement activities (e.g., booking venues, preparing materials), as needed.

10. Perform other HR tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor and/or management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Education : Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Psychology, Human Resources Management

Experience : Preferably with 2-3 years related work experience in a similar role

Other / Special Skills : Highly organized, detail-oriented, computer literate, good oral and written English communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
